Museum Attendance Figures According to the Corriere di FirenzeMuseum Attendance July 2003/ July 2004

Visitor figures are up by 17.19% for the same period last year with the head of the museum confirming that the depressed cycle in attendance figures is on the way out.

Unfortunately those visiting Florence this year will find that many of the historical buildings, at least externally, are undergoing an extensive re-touching and restoration. This includes the magnificient gallery of the Uffizi.

The visitor figures show us that the top billing of things to see if the Uffizi Gallery, followed by the Accademia and then the Boboli Gardens.

The total increase in visitor numbers is 68,882.
