Beaches in Tuscany

There are many beaches around the coast in Tuscany, each have their own unique qualities, during the summer months and on this page I will present pictures from the Beaches around Tuscany.

The beach at Vada

Vada can be reached by taking the FI-PI-LI road and then the paid autostrada followed by the local roads for about 10 minutes. With no traffic on the road it's an hours run from Florence. With traffic it can take from 90 minutes up to two hours.

Vada is a popular with Germans and Italians and is suited ideally to families [read few if any late night clubs]. The beach is sandy and the water generally clean. There are a number of campsites which can be divided into German and Italian.
