Arezzo Wave 2004

Between the 6/11th July at Arezzo will
be the annual "Arezzo Wave". It's the nearest Tuscany
gets to an outdoor Glastonbury and thousands of people make there
way down the Autostrada towards Rome to enjoy the musical festivities. It's
also FREE which makes it really popular!

You can bring a tent and pitch it but don't expect
green fields, in fact many Italians go and take a walk around the
camp site, I think to remind themselves how lucky they were to bring
a car!
Here is a[link]

Plus many more guests and DJs.
One not to miss if you are in Tuscany during
July.
Report:
This years ArezzoWave 2004 had a great selection of music
of which the highlight for many was the appearance of Cypress Hill,
who gave a 90 minute performance on the Friday of the festival.
Saturday promised a rare opportunity to see two of Africa's great
performers - Roika Troure from Mali and Miriam Makeba - it was then
left to ElectroWave at the commercial centre to provide the music
until the early hours.
